Presence Health, formed by the merger of Provena Health and Resurrection Health Care, faced widespread inaccurate online directory listings across more than 400 physicians and locations—leaving patients unable to find providers (notably Dr. Mary Gordon) and marketing staff without the time or resources to maintain listings. To address this, Presence Health engaged Influence Health and its Directory Listings Management service.
Influence Health claimed and cleansed every listing, pushed corrected branding and data to local and national directories, search engines, social and review sites, and used established processes and data-aggregator relationships to prevent overwrites and keep costs down. The results: location listing accuracy rose from 1% to 91%, provider listing accuracy from 3% to 73%, rankings increased for 223+ keyword variations, web traffic from sites like Yelp rose 88%, and Influence Health now manages over 400 listings—reducing C-suite intervention and routing patients correctly.
