Burt’s Bees worked with Inflow to test whether changing the trust badge on burtsbees.com would increase conversions. The challenge was deciding between the existing McAfee badges, replacing them with TrustedSite badges, using TrustedSite only on cart/checkout, or removing floating badges altogether.

Inflow ran an A/B test with those variations and found that replacing all McAfee badges with TrustedSite increased conversion rate by 8.72% at 93% confidence. All TrustedSite variations outperformed the McAfee control, and any trust badge outperformed having none — results produced by Inflow show TrustedSite instilled more trust with the Burt’s Bees audience than McAfee.
