Johnson & Johnson's pharmaceutical arm, Janssen, required real-time access to production data to monitor COVID-19 vaccine batches manufactured at a contract site. The challenge was establishing a secure data pipeline from the manufacturer's highly isolated operational technology network. InflexionPoint was tasked with creating a scalable and secure architecture to transmit this critical data.

InflexionPoint implemented a solution using Inductive Automation's Ignition platform with Cirrus Link MQTT modules. The system created a secure gateway with one-way, outbound communication to send data to Johnson & Johnson's Azure IoT Hub. This solution allowed the customer to successfully monitor key production metrics in near real-time, helping to ensure the quality and success of vaccine batches while maintaining a secure manufacturing environment.
