West Gate Bridge, one of Australia’s largest and busiest cable-stayed bridges, needed reliable remote surveillance and PTZ camera control across a critical transport route linking Melbourne’s inner city with the western suburbs. To support fast response in the event of accidents or crises, the bridge turned to Infinova and its fiber-based video networking equipment.

Infinova implemented the N3731A series video server and related fiber optic components to transmit live video to the bridge control room and manage PTZ functions from the Melbourne City Depot. The solution provided high dynamic range, strong interference immunity, and easy fiber link configuration, improving remote monitoring and enabling immediate action when needed.
