Kolhapur City Surveillance Company partnered with Infinova to support the Kolhapur Safe City Project, which aimed to strengthen public safety across this holy tourist destination in Maharashtra. The city needed a modern IP surveillance infrastructure with incident reporting to monitor law and order, public gatherings, VIP movements, traffic, crime prevention, and key entry/exit points, religious sites, and flood-prone areas.

Infinova, working with Samarth Security Systems, implemented a large-scale surveillance solution with about 165 cameras in phase one, including 116 high-definition fixed cameras, 17 HD PTZ cameras, and 32 panoramic cameras, all connected to the C-Cube command, control, and communication center. The deployment also included video management, analytics, disaster management, and Marathi-language SOPs. Since completion in March 2016, the system has helped police track accidents and thefts, with CCTV evidence providing crucial leads in multiple cases.
