Crevier BMW, the largest BMW dealership in the United States, needed a surveillance system that would reduce cabling and installation costs across its campus while improving infrastructure management. Infinova was selected to provide an IP-based video surveillance solution, including IP dome cameras and video management software, because it was significantly more cost-effective than a traditional analog design.

Infinova implemented a hybrid IP surveillance system using PTZ IP dome cameras, stationary analog cameras, and a network video recorder with video management software. The result was about a 60% cost difference versus analog, with major savings from reduced cabling, no need for DVRs, and lower network utilization; the system also supported efficient monitoring of vehicle movement and quality control across multiple dealership facilities.
