Infinova Video System Watches Over Shanghai’s Iconic Culture Expo Center

The Shanghai World Expo Culture Center, one of Shanghai’s iconic new buildings, needed a security system to monitor its multiple six-story facilities, including an 18,000-seat theater, entrances and exits, garages, stairways, elevators, and other critical areas. Infinova provided the cameras, fiber optic modems, and large-scale matrix switcher used to address the site’s wide coverage needs and long transmission distances.

Infinova deployed a mix of fixed color, minidome, WDR day/night, and speed dome cameras, along with N3759 fiber optic modems for runs over 500 meters and a V2060 matrix switcher in the control center. The solution enabled operators to manage alarms, call up live video from the relevant camera, and respond quickly to incidents, improving overall surveillance coverage and incident handling across the complex.
