Infinova Cameras and Matrix Switchers Help Protect Shanghai’s Shanghui City R&D Complex

Shanghui City R&D Complex in Shanghai needed a flexible surveillance system for a large 70,000-square-meter industrial building with above-ground R&D facilities and two underground floors, including parking, bicycle storage, civil defense, and equipment rooms. To meet different security needs across the site, the complex turned to Infinova for a mixed IP and analog camera solution.

Infinova implemented a coexistent surveillance system using IP and analog cameras, matrix switchers, monitors, DVRs, and related components, including V1727 IP PTZ dome cameras, V1026-1 and V1028-1 fixed cameras, and V5411 fixed minidome cameras. The system was centered on Infinova V2060 TCP/IP Network Video Switchers and supported up to 4,096 video inputs and 512 outputs, while providing 15 days of recorded storage across 3,900GB. The result was an affordable, scalable, single-operator solution that unified surveillance across the entire complex.
