NICE Highway, part of NICE (Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises), needed a reliable way to manage toll collection, monitor 106 toll lanes across eight plazas, and reduce revenue pilferage along its Bangalore outskirts highway network. Infinova provided a customized, vision-based toll surveillance solution using V1044B IR illuminated day/night IP65 lane cameras, IP PTZ dome cameras, and fixed dome cameras to cover the toll plazas and surrounding traffic areas.

Infinova’s system automatically captured vehicle images and license plate details, overlaid lane and transaction data through DELOPT’s Image Camera Module, and fed live video to toll stations and the Central Control Center. The result was halted revenue pilferage, higher toll revenue through vehicle count cross-verification, better use of ground staff, and more orderly traffic flow with reduced driver wait times.
