Ocean Spray, the farmer-owned cooperative and global leader in cranberries, faced the challenge of delivering consistently premium dried cranberries across multiple plants while moving off paper records and driving processes to target rather than merely staying in spec. To gain real-time visibility, standardize data collection across five dried-cranberry plants, and empower operators to make faster, data-driven decisions, Ocean Spray turned to InfinityQS and its Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools.

InfinityQS implemented SPC across Ocean Spray’s plants, standardizing projects and configuring the software to match operator workflows so data collection and analysis are real-time and consistent. The change delivered measurable results: when SPC rules were enabled at the Markham plant, process capability rose from 0.96 to 1.46 (a ~50% improvement), analysis time fell from weeks to minutes, operator adjustments and ingredient waste declined, and Ocean Spray gained greater consistency and competitive advantage—thanks to InfinityQS.
