InfinityQS ProFicient’s open platform smoothly integrates with established machinery

Leggett & Platt, a global manufacturer of engineered components and consumer-product mechanisms, needed to cut the time spent measuring on the shop floor, eliminate reporting lapses, and move to a fully paperless, standardized analytics solution to improve in-process quality and prevent defects. To meet these goals they evaluated SPC systems and selected InfinityQS, adopting InfinityQS ProFicient and its open platform for integration with their existing machinery.

InfinityQS implemented its ProFicient SPC solution to provide real-time data analysis, specification checks, automatic recording and emailing of unusual events, and automated web publishing. As a result, Leggett & Platt’s end-of-month finalization process that once took two days now occurs in real time, lots are fully traceable, the quality system is paperless, and overall production time has been significantly reduced thanks to InfinityQS’s platform.
