Case Study: King & Prince Seafood achieves real-time quality visibility and consistent in-spec seafood with InfinityQS International

A InfinityQS International Case Study

Preview of the King & Prince Seafood Case Study

In-spec Processes: Upstream & Downstream

King & Prince Seafood, a 90+-year-old seafood manufacturer and part of Nissui, faced significant challenges controlling raw-material variability across a global supply chain and ensuring finished-product quality at its U.S. plants. In 2012 they adopted InfinityQS SPC software (introduced by sister company Gorton’s) to gain real-time, centralized visibility into quality and manufacturing data across dozens of suppliers and more than 100 processes.

InfinityQS deployed a digitized, standardized SPC solution across all three U.S. plants and into supplier inspections, using real-time dashboards, Ppk capability assessments, and mandated data entry configurations. As a result, King & Prince Seafood achieved far greater supplier consistency and process capability, improved % Right First Time, standardized quality practices company-wide, and drove customer complaints down to less than one per million pounds sold—demonstrating clear measurable impact from the InfinityQS implementation.
