Cencora partnered with Infinitus to improve its AI-first patient access program and speed up the benefit verification process, which is often manual and time-consuming. The challenge became especially acute during January reverification season, when verification volumes can spike by 10x and create major staffing and turnaround pressures.

Infinitus integrated its AI agent into Cencora’s proprietary benefit verification ecosystem, automating calls to payors and pharmacy benefit managers for benefit verification, reverification, prior authorization, and reporting. The result was support for 10x-plus seasonal demand, work equivalent to over 100 full-time employees offset, and benefit verification turnaround times about 4x faster than traditional expectations while maintaining high quality.
