World’s Largest Telecom Company, one of the world’s largest telecom providers, needed to replace an aging carrier platform that was reaching end of life. The company wanted to preserve existing investments and avoid major operational disruption or retraining during the migration. Infinite Computer Solutions was brought in to support the transition to a next-generation carrier-grade communications platform using ATCA 2.0.

Infinite Computer Solutions deployed Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture (ATCA v2.0) hardware and created a network optimization strategy to enable a seamless migration of subscribers and traffic. The solution delivered improved performance while leveraging existing hardware investments, resulting in reduced OPEX, reduced CAPEX, more than 50% lower power consumption, and performance gains of 2x for the MMSC application and 4x for the SMSC application.
