A Infinite Campus Case Study
Worthington Schools-518 District, a 2,600-student district in Worthington, Minnesota, faced an outdated grading and reporting process—grades in hard-bound books, separate third-party score posting, and hectic report-card periods. Seeking a modern, integrated solution, the district chose Infinite Campus and has used its student information system (SIS) since 2000, later adopting Infinite Campus’s web-based Instructional Management tools and Campus Portal to bring transparency and accountability to teachers, students, and families.
Infinite Campus implemented its SIS along with Instructional Management features (assignment submission, resources, digital repository, and online assessment) and the Campus Portal/Mobile Portal, giving real-time access to grades, attendance, assignments and enabling online assessments with statistical analysis. As a result, Worthington teachers reduced paper use, became more organized and interactive with students, parents and students routinely check the portal, and redundant data entry was eliminated—data is entered once and updates district-wide—improving efficiency across the district.
