A Infinite Campus Case Study
Shenendehowa Central School District, in Clifton Park, New York, serving about 10,000 students across 12 schools, needed a modern data management system to keep pace with changing accountability requirements, increase teacher effectiveness and improve student learning through data analysis. Since 2006 the district has used Infinite Campus’ web-based student information system to replace a DOS-based legacy SIS that could not export data or meet new state and federal reporting demands.
Infinite Campus implemented an integrated, web-based solution that gives staff canned reports, ad hoc filters and data cubes to analyze attendance, discipline, health, class size and assessment results, enabling district and school-based teams to produce action plans, conduct monthly reviews and meet NCLB, state and Regents reporting requirements. As a result of using Infinite Campus, Shenendehowa can rapidly generate required reports, build data literacy, create a district-wide data culture and better target resources and instructional improvements across its 12 schools.
