Shelton Public Schools, a 5,000‑student district in Shelton, Connecticut, needed a modern, user‑friendly student information system (SIS) that could integrate with their data warehouse, provide extensive functionality, and deliver strong value. After evaluating several vendors, the district replaced its outdated SASI system and selected Infinite Campus as its SIS solution in 2009.

Infinite Campus implemented a centralized, phased SIS rollout (with local support from channel partner Custom Computer Specialists) that unified grades, attendance, demographics and assessments in a single point of entry. Using Infinite Campus alongside Tableau and optional modules like Campus Food Service and Campus Messenger, Shelton reduced staff data‑entry time, eliminated POS transaction processing time in cafeterias, and enabled daily, data‑driven decision making across the district.
