Schaumburg School District 54, a 27-school district in northeast Illinois serving more than 14,000 students, struggled with an outdated, hard-to-navigate student information system that made scheduling and custom reporting slow and labor-intensive. The district selected Infinite Campus in 2009 for its intuitive interface, flexible scheduling and reporting capabilities, and to support advanced data visualization with Tableau.

Infinite Campus implemented a fully integrated SIS with Campus Scheduler and Tableau integration, giving District 54 cleaner, single-entry data that updates nightly into visual dashboards. As a result, the district streamlined master scheduling, built custom reports (including multi-language report cards), and boosted stakeholder communication through the Campus Portal and mobile app — enabling parents and teachers to access real-time grades and attendance and allowing educators to focus on instruction rather than data reconciliation.
