A Infinite Campus Case Study
Rockford Area Schools, a 1,579-student district near Minneapolis, struggled with an aging third-party food service system that forced staff into double data entry, produced inconsistent student information, and required parents to manage two separate logins. In 2009 the district adopted Infinite Campus as its SIS and elected to implement Infinite Campus’ Campus Food Service to replace the antiquated cafeteria processes.
Infinite Campus migrated current balances and lunch numbers into Campus Food Service and deployed Campus Food Service POS and the Campus Portal, providing real-time, single-login access to meal accounts and student information. The Infinite Campus solution eliminated duplicate data entry, sped up and improved accuracy in lunch lines, cut down parent phone calls about account balances, and freed staff time for other tasks.
