Oklahoma City Public Schools - Customer Case Study

Oklahoma City Public Schools, serving 46,000 students, faced the limits of a green‑screen legacy system (TERMS/CrossPointe) that made modern data use, transformative initiatives, and hiring for COBOL-based roles difficult. To address this, the district selected Infinite Campus and implemented Infinite Campus District Edition to replace the outdated system.

Infinite Campus led a July 2016 rollout with dedicated training and project management (Tim Fredin) and added integrated modules like Online Registration, Data Change Tracker, Data Health Check, and Multi‑language Editor. The Infinite Campus portal and mobile app now give real‑time access to grades, attendance and schedules, cutting tasks that once took hours—such as counting third‑grade classrooms—to about five minutes and delivering significant time and cost savings that the district called “worth a billion dollars.”
