The Independent School District of Boise City, which serves more than 25,000 students, needed to replace multiple freestanding data systems and an aging SASIxp platform to eliminate paper grade books, standardize data entry, boost accountability, and give parents real-time access to student information. Under CIO Dr. Steve Tyree, the district selected Infinite Campus—deploying its web-based student information system (including the Campus Portal and integrated grade book)—to meet those goals.

Infinite Campus rolled out its fully integrated, web-native SIS across the district’s 60 sites, providing single-point data entry, standards-based and traditional grading tools, and the Campus Portal for parents, students, and staff. The result: real-time transparency that increased accountability and parent engagement, streamlined state reporting (district staff report they can “push a button” to export required data), eliminated disparate gradebook tools, and delivered measurable scale and operational efficiency for the Independent School District.
