Hopkins Public Schools - Customer Case Study

Hopkins Public Schools, a district of about 7,700 students near Minneapolis, faced recurring problems with a stand‑alone third‑party food service and online payments system — frozen terminals, malfunctioning PIN pads, duplicated data entry, and labor‑intensive year‑end roll‑forward tasks. To address these issues they selected Infinite Campus and its Campus Food Service and Campus Online Payments modules to integrate payments and meal service directly with their student information system (SIS).

Infinite Campus implemented Campus Food Service and Campus Online Payments using the district’s existing Campus database (no data conversion), which sped cafeteria transactions, produced more accurate end‑of‑day reports, eliminated cash handling and lost checks, and improved cash flow and office efficiency. Within a few months Hopkins reported higher parent confidence (PCI Level 1 payment processing via Vanco), real‑time account accuracy, and freed staff time to focus on nutrition and wellness — measurable operational improvements delivered by Infinite Campus.
