A Infinite Campus Case Study
Hopkins County School District (Madisonville, KY), serving 6,892 students, faced challenges with an outdated food service system (Horizon One Source) that struggled to keep eligibility statuses accurate and forced staff to enter meal application data into multiple programs. Already using Infinite Campus as their student information system (SIS) since 2007, Hopkins sought to eliminate third‑party products and reduce the cost and complexity of duplicate data processes by adopting additional Infinite Campus solutions — Campus Food Service, Campus Messenger with Voice, and Campus Online Payments.
Infinite Campus implemented an integrated solution—Campus Food Service with FRAM, Campus Online Payments, Campus Messenger with Voice, and the Campus Portal—so data is entered once in the SIS and is immediately available across modules. The change enabled Hopkins to serve nearly 7,000 meals daily with more accurate eligibility tracking, streamlined state reporting that improved funding eligibility, reduced cash handling, saved staff time and money, and gave parents 24/7 visibility and payment options; all delivered through Infinite Campus’s integrated platform.
