GFW Public School District, serving 784 students in Gibbon, Fairfax and Winthrop, Minn., struggled with inefficient student data management after using JMC, which required separate databases per school and led to double data entry and reporting challenges. Seeking a unified, web-based SIS, GFW selected Infinite Campus in 2003 and later added the Campus Messenger with Voice premium product to improve communications.

Infinite Campus implemented a single district-wide SIS that centralizes data entry and integrated Campus Messenger with Voice to replace a third-party messaging vendor. The integrated solution eliminated duplicate data entry and sync issues, enabled real-time access across the district, and allows staff to send emergency and routine messages by phone, email or text within 15 minutes using SIS data; sent-message reports and parent preference settings further improved reach and accuracy. As a result, Infinite Campus helped GFW save time and money, increase reliability, and significantly improve parent and student communications.
