Darlington Community Schools - Customer Case Study

Darlington Community Schools, a rural district in Lafayette County serving about 790 students, had used PowerSchool for more than eight years but wanted a more stable, web-based SIS with stronger support. After consulting with CESA 5, the district selected Infinite Campus for its web functionality, Campus Portal and Mobile Portal, Campus Scheduler 5.0, and the included Campus Special Education module.

Infinite Campus, working with CESA 5, managed a smooth data conversion and implementation of the Campus Portal, Mobile Portal, Scheduler 5.0 and Special Education module. The rollout gave parents and students real‑time access to grades, attendance and assignments, simplified and sped up scheduling, and eliminated a third‑party special education system—benefits that now support Darlington Community Schools’ roughly 790 students and reduced staff time and complexity.
