A Infinite Campus Case Study
Chinook Schools, a small Montana district of 383 students, faced limitations with its legacy SIS (SASIxp) and slow, paper-based cafeteria operations. After evaluating options, the district selected Infinite Campus and its Web-based student information system, later adding the Campus Food Service premium product to address the lack of an integrated food-service solution.
Infinite Campus implemented its SIS district-wide by the 2006–07 school year and rolled out Campus Food Service with touch-screen POS terminals and the Campus Portal for parents. The integrated solution eliminated transaction processing time, sped up lunch lines, recorded purchases in real time within Infinite Campus, and saved staff time across the district while improving parent visibility into student lunch accounts and boosting school-to-home communication.
