Barrington School District - Customer Case Study

Barrington School District, serving more than 9,000 K–12 students northwest of Chicago, needed a scalable student information system to replace a homegrown SIS built for high school use. In 2013 the district implemented Infinite Campus District Edition to provide a single, district-wide SIS that would support all grade levels and streamline administrative workflows.

Infinite Campus delivered a stable, centrally managed SIS running on Microsoft SQL Server, allowing Barrington to eliminate redundant third‑party systems, integrate food service and other departments, and go paperless. Using Infinite Campus Online Registration the district saved an estimated $80,000–$100,000 annually by reducing paper and temporary hires, and the Campus Mobile Portal helped achieve 100% family online registration, giving parents secure access to grades, attendance, schedules and teacher communications.
