University of Georgia Center and Hotel chooses Infinio for storage performance

The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and Hotel in Athens, GA—a busy conference center supporting about 300 staff and 200 VDI users—relies on two vSphere clusters backed by a Dell Compellent all‑flash array with single‑SSD host cache. When the stability of their existing server‑side cache became uncertain, the four‑person IT team evaluated replacements and piloted Infinio.

The Infinio pilot on a 50‑VM cluster immediately improved file access and read times, delivering response times as low as 170 microseconds—faster than their all‑flash array.
