Pulsant, a leading UK provider of data centre services and cloud infrastructure, needed a high-performance storage platform that could meet current customer demand and support future growth. To evaluate its options, Pulsant reviewed four vendors on price, ease of use, technical capabilities, features, support, and consultancy, while also ensuring there would be no downtime for existing customers during the transition. Infinidat and its InfiniBox enterprise storage system emerged as the top choice.

Infinidat implemented two new InfiniBox systems for Pulsant, adding to deployments across five UK sites and helping consolidate three existing storage systems into one. The result was stronger performance, simpler management, improved scalability, and compliance-ready encryption across the stack. Pulsant reported 40% more performance with 20% lower costs, automated provisioning management, and “unprecedented availability” of 99.99999%, even under utilization levels up to 90%.
