KISTERS AG, a Germany-based software and services company serving energy, water, and air quality markets, needed a high-performance storage platform that could be deployed quickly and deliver the reliability and quality of service required to support its growing cloud customer base. To meet these demands, the company evaluated several options and chose Infinidat’s InfiniBox storage solution.

Infinidat implemented InfiniBox as a self-contained, easy-to-manage system that integrated smoothly into KISTERS’ existing environment, with simple setup via GUI or Linux-based InfiniShell. The solution delivered 249 TB of storage, scalable to 499 TB, along with strong reliability through InfiniRAID and three-controller redundancy, plus flexible capacity-on-demand pricing. KISTERS also reported a fourfold reduction in Oracle database space through built-in compression, helping it deliver consistent 24x7 performance to customers.
