Aultman Hospital, a large healthcare system in Canton, Ohio, faced major COVID-19 challenges in protecting patients, families, and staff while also coping with financial pressure from canceled non-emergency procedures. To maintain care and operations, the hospital needed a way to keep patients connected with loved ones and enable more than 1,000 non-clinical employees to work remotely.

Infinidat supported Aultman Hospital by providing free additional storage, helping extend capacity to more than 1 petabyte, while the IT team also deployed 300 virtual desktops and VPN access for remote users. The solution helped Aultman quickly scale secure remote work and virtual visitation during the crisis, supporting patients, staff, and families through a difficult period.
