RETN Deploys Infinera ICE4 to Power TRANSKZ Network for Europe-Asia Connectivity

RETN, an international network service provider, needed to scale its long-haul terrestrial transport network to support low-latency, high-capacity services across Europe and Asia. To meet this challenge, RETN turned to Infinera and its ICE4-based platform for the TRANSKZ network, which connects major markets via Kazakhstan and reaches the Chinese border.

Infinera deployed its ICE4 solution to complete the latest TRANSKZ upgrade, helping RETN deliver reliable 100G services across more than 15,000 kilometers of diverse terrain. The network’s final 4,000 kilometers in Kazakhstan were deployed in less than 30 days, accelerating time to revenue, and the solution has proven highly reliable even in harsh environmental conditions along very long routes.
