Fox Dealer, a regional automotive agency, wanted to increase foot traffic to car dealerships and needed a true attribution model to measure how effective mobile advertising was at driving lot visits. Infillion, then operating as Gimbal, provided location-based mobile advertising and attribution technology to help track real-world dealership visitation.
Infillion served static mobile banner ads with promotions and offers, used geo-conquesting and retargeting to reach shoppers who had visited competitor lots, and applied proprietary location technology to connect ad exposure to actual visits. The campaign generated 526 walk-ins, a 3.1% lift in dealership visits, an average dwell time of 69 minutes, and a $37.07 cost per visit, showing strong attribution and efficient traffic growth.
