How 13 Locaweb events delivered the power of mobile to thousand of attendees

Locaweb, Brazil’s leading web‑hosting and cloud services company, needed a way to run and synchronize three distinct event types (RubyConf, PHP Community and Locaweb Meetup) for different audiences while boosting engagement, networking and live giveaways. Facing complex agendas with parallel sessions and a previous solution that lacked chat, feedback and Twitter integration, Locaweb selected InEvent and its Invent Live app to deliver a tailored event management and mobile experience.

InEvent implemented a white‑label, multi‑event platform and customized mobile app (iOS/Android, multi‑language) that centralized all past and future event data, integrated Twitter for live giveaways and feeds, hosted session agendas and downloadable materials, and enabled in‑app networking. The results: 13 events, 2,573 downloads and 243,615 messages, elimination of printed agendas, streamlined end‑to‑end planning and noticeably higher attendee interaction and networking through the InEvent platform.
