A InetSoft Case Study
The World Health Organization (WHO) faces a persistent public‑health challenge: anti‑tuberculosis (TB) drug resistance driven by improper antibiotic use, incomplete treatment courses, and weak TB control programs, which allows drug‑resistant strains to spread across populations. WHO needed a clear, accessible way for stakeholders to monitor diagnosis and treatment indicators by country and year.
Using Style Intelligence, WHO built interactive visualizations and parameterized web reports that let users quickly explore TB indicators with colored line and bar charts, detailed crosstabs, and an embedded map with dropdown filters and a date slider. Automated country profiles and the Global Tuberculosis Report are generated from WHO’s central database, updated annually, and available on the web or as PDFs in multiple languages—making timely, comparable TB data easy to find and analyze.
