Data Solutions Inc., a provider of HR technology and services (employee surveys, multi-rater assessments and talent management), needed to replace a legacy reporting system that required extracting core data and slowed development. The company required a J2EE-compliant, tightly integrated reporting tool that could deliver custom, real-time reports and flexible layouts for each customer while dramatically reducing report development and production cycles.

DSI selected InetSoft’s Style Report, a J2EE web-based reporting solution that integrated with their Java applications via an open API, supported real-time data access, and enabled highly customized graphical reports in an online self-service environment. The implementation cut report generation from about two minutes to roughly 20 seconds, reduced setup and production costs, increased throughput, and added differentiating features that improved customer experience and competitive positioning.
