WSP Australia boosts efficiency across a AU$300 million program with InEight

WSP Australia, as part of the Delivering for Customers (D4C) Joint Venture, faced the challenge of managing large volumes of documentation for a 10-year mega program with Sydney Water. For field workers, finding the right contextual information for specific assets in a timely manner using conventional document management systems was difficult and inefficient. To address this, they turned to vendor InEight and its InEight Document product.

The solution implemented centered on InEight Document, which was integrated with geospatial information to create a map-based search tool called D4C Create. This allowed field workers to intuitively find and filter documents associated with specific assets by location. The results included faster, more streamlined work processes, less user frustration, and easier sharing of information between joint-venture partners. This efficiency gain supports the project's larger goals of driving speed and accuracy to free up focus for innovation throughout the 10-year, AU$300 million annual program.
