Victoria’s Level Crossing Removal Project Uses Ineight Technology to Better Manage and Control Project Documents

Lendlease, part of the alliance delivering Victoria’s Level Crossing Removal Project (Caulfield to Dandenong), faced a complex, multi‑stakeholder challenge: controlling, distributing and auditing vast numbers of project documents across a large, distributed workforce. The LXRP mandated use of InEight’s document management solution, InEight Document, to manage, protect and version project information for the CTD works.

InEight delivered a single online repository with features like Lot Manager and smart folders, enabling paperless handovers, real‑time quality reporting and tighter security and audit trails. The system processed nearly 200,000 pieces of correspondence, supported more than 2,000 users and 3,000+ contacts from 521 companies, handled over 8,000 RFIs and facilitated ordering 95% of the project’s concrete (nearly 400 m3/day), streamlining close‑out of 10,000+ lots and significantly reducing travel, admin time and manual effort for Lendlease.
