OceanaGold, a multinational gold producer, faced inefficient, siloed project documentation that made it difficult for teams — especially underground operators — to find and follow controlled procedures. Seeking a single, searchable repository for thousands of project documents, OceanaGold selected InEight and its cloud-based InEight Document solution to improve document control and access.

InEight implemented InEight Document (integrated with Microsoft SharePoint) to provide a single source of controlled project truth with versioning, transmittals and governance features accessible via tablets underground. As a result, OceanaGold now manages more than 35,000 documents, provides access to over 2,500 users, and has improved compliance, efficiency and the ability to find documents quickly — delivering measurable gains in document control and project certainty.
