BuildMaster pulls source from Git, packages it, transfers it to Linux servers, unzips it, runs Puppet-based setup scripts, labels the release in Git, and sends completion emails. The result was a simple but highly effective deployment workflow that saved loads of time, improved reliability, and gave the team confidence that releases would work consistently.
