Universal Motion Components, a Costa Mesa–based OEM supplier of irrigation and agricultural drive line components, faced growing complexity in shipping and limited access to operational data as demand increased. To solve these challenges they turned to INDUSTRIOS, deploying its ERP shipping module and MRP capabilities to streamline shipments and improve information access.

INDUSTRIOS implemented shipping-by-weight, a Shipment Workbench, an MRP engine and a Material Planning Forecast Spreadsheet Interface, plus easy Excel/data import features, allowing UMC to arrange truckload shipments, view open long‑lead orders and update supplier costs quickly. The result: improved shipping and production, enhanced data visibility, purchasing planned farther in advance, easier MRP adjustments, and measurable time and cost savings driven by more efficient, predictable operations.
