Trimax Systems - Customer Case Study

Western Municipal Water District worked with Trimax Systems to replace an outdated SCADA system at its Southern California wastewater plant. The district needed a new solution that could support multiple full-featured clients across workstations, mobile devices, and field OITs, while also serving as a unified standard across the entire district. Trimax evaluated Inductive Automation’s Ignition against Wonderware and found Ignition to be the best fit.

Trimax implemented Inductive Automation’s Ignition with a server-centric, web-based architecture that allowed unlimited clients, remote access, and consistent SCADA screens across the plant and beyond. The result was a more flexible, district-wide platform that improved visibility and control, reduced the need for manual checks and radio communication, and enabled Western Municipal Water District to expand Ignition to two additional facilities as part of a broader standardization plan.
