St. Lucie West Services District - Customer Case Study

St. Lucie West Services District, a municipal water and wastewater utility serving about 20,000 people in Port St. Lucie, Florida, needed a more reliable SCADA system to support 24/7 operations. Their existing system had limitations that made it hard to expand, especially because upgrades were sold in blocks of 5,000 tags, and the district relied on SCADA as its “eyes and ears” during the eight hours each day the facility was unmanned.

Working with Integration Services, Inc., St. Lucie West implemented Ignition by Inductive Automation as its new SCADA platform, rolled out process by process across five major operations and 53 lift stations. The result was a stable, scalable, and more affordable system with unlimited tags; one year later, the district reported “flawless” performance with no errors and no need for reboots, while Integration Services noted that the system “runs like a top.”
