A Inductive Automation Case Study
Prima Frutta, a cherry producer in Linden, Calif., needed to improve efficiency and productivity on its production lines without adding labor. To support the overhaul of its largest cherry production line in the world, the company turned to Inductive Automation and its Ignition industrial application platform for HMI, SCADA, and IIoT functionality.
Inductive Automation helped Prima Frutta expand its existing Ignition deployment into the new cherry line, using large plant-wide displays, tablet-based SCADA control, and a rapid implementation approach built around a digital twin. The result was a 50% increase in production, faster access to real-time data for hundreds of employees, and a successful project delivered on time and on budget with no issues during the software update.
