MRW District partnered with Inductive Automation to replace its difficult-to-expand SCADA/HMI system with Ignition. As the utility grew, it needed a platform that could handle more sites, more tags, and better data visibility without constantly adding new licenses.

Inductive Automation’s Ignition gave MRW District unlimited licensing, faster system expansion, and much greater control over operations and energy use. With the new system, MRW increased its tag count from 5,000 to more than 90,000 and saved over $400,000 per year in energy costs, while also improving reporting, data collection, and overall SCADA flexibility.
