A Inductive Automation Case Study
JMA Wireless, a global designer and builder of in-building and outdoor mobile wireless systems, wanted to improve the efficiency of its manufacturing operations as demand grew worldwide. To support this effort, the company began using Ignition, the industrial application platform from Inductive Automation, to better manage data across manufacturing, testing, reporting, and troubleshooting.
With Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform, JMA Wireless built more than 20 applications to support data acquisition, historical analysis, OEE, part tracking, product testing, and reporting. The result was faster decision-making, improved root-cause analysis, and greater productivity, including a 30% reduction in jumper cable testing time and a major reduction in paper-based processes. Inductive Automation also helped JMA simplify HMI development, database integration, PLC connectivity, and future mobile access for field technicians.
