Ecoplexus - Customer Case Study

Ecoplexus, a solar energy company with more than 30 sites, was struggling with a mix of different data acquisition systems that lacked standardization, deep data visibility, and control capabilities. Working with Inductive Automation and system integrator NLS Engineering, the company needed a single, utility-scale SCADA platform that could provide better information, support reporting, and work within a tight implementation timeline. The solution was built with Ignition by Inductive Automation.

Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform unified Ecoplexus’ sites on one open, customizable system, eliminating extra subscription fees for additional sites, tags, users, devices, or projects. The new platform improved efficiency, expanded data collection and analysis, enabled better plant performance insight and predictive analytics, and gave operators portfolio-wide dashboards with alarms, trends, and reports. As a result, Ecoplexus now has lower costs, more data, and a solution it can own, operate, and maintain itself.
