A Inductive Automation Case Study
AriZona Beverages, a major beverage producer opening a new 621,000-square-foot plant in Keasbey, New Jersey, needed a unified HMI, SCADA, and MES solution that could connect its operations to SAP while improving data access and reducing manual handoffs. Working with Inductive Automation and system integrator Vertech, the company looked for a flexible platform to support batching, analytics, and plantwide visibility.
Inductive Automation’s Ignition, along with Sepasoft MES, was implemented to deliver ISA-88-compliant batch control, real-time production tracking, and integration from device control through SAP. The system improved efficiencies, made recipe changes easier, enabled OEE, downtime, scheduling, and finished-goods reporting, and lowered software licensing costs through Ignition’s unlimited licensing model. AriZona also expanded access to SCADA and MES data across laptops, phones, tablets, and plant screens, giving teams better visibility and control over production.
