A Inductive Automation Case Study
Adams Vegetable Oils, part of the Adams Group family of businesses, needed a more modern and scalable SCADA approach for its vegetable oil and grain plants. The company wanted better efficiency, clearer displays, more data access, faster implementation, and fewer licensing constraints than its previous system could provide. Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform was introduced by Calcon Systems to meet those needs.
Using Inductive Automation’s Ignition, Adams built dashboards for KPIs, alarms, downtime, runtime, shift performance, historical data, and work-order creation, with remote access for managers and operators. The result was tangible efficiency gains, improved visibility, easier use, and faster development, along with the flexibility to keep expanding without being limited by client or screen licenses.
