Indium Software worked with a leading Italian bank, a 130-year-old financial institution with more than 300 branches across Europe and Asia, that needed a scalable real-time solution to analyze system data and proactively reduce server downtime. The bank wanted to mine server logs in real time to speed up troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action for server performance issues.

Indium Software designed and built a real-time log analytics platform using Apache Flume, Kafka, Apache Storm, HBase, and Apache Solr, with D3.js visualization on top of the processed data. The solution was delivered from the ground up in under two weeks, tested with production-grade data, and tuned to provide real-time insights from logs generated by 420 servers.
